Inconsistent operation of app is hyper frustrating and borderline scammy in my personal opinion. Often the deals will just kick out error codes and then the app needs a reinstall and the deal is gone. But you are already at the kiosk so what you going to do? And the deals time out in 10 minutes so you need to be proximate to a McD to check if the app is working at the moment. So, yeah, pretty much garbage in my humble opinion.

One of the most horrible apps. I've used. Encountered issues with the points redemption every single time I've used the app. I don't even eat Mcdonalds regularly, probably every 2-3 months. And yet every. single. time. I've had to speak with the staff to issue refund. Most of the time the staff are nice and helpful, but it's very difficult to try to get thwir help during peak hour.

This app has only been getting worse with each update. At first, the app was snappy, straightforward and beautiful. Over the years, the UI has been getting flatter and uglier. The app is so slow and buggy that I often find myself going to a different restaurant alltogether. Not only that, but the whole point of the app, namely the reward program is terribly executed. Offers used to change weekly, but now they change monthly, with little to no significant changes in the contents.
