Very enjoyable idle game so far, though it's only been a week. My biggest complaint is when I'm actively in the game on the Realm screen, the auto-combat tends to actively direct itself away from the spawns and avoid combat. Even just idly tapping the "attack" button doesn't help, as the pathfinding actively moves the character away from enemies when possible. Otherwise, this is a decent F2P friendly semi-idle game.

My review is subject to change. I am just describing my very first impression. I was playing another Wuxia game and there was a video ad for Overmortal showing a choose your own adventure where you can do silly things like poison your master. But when I started up the game, it was nothing like that. That's false advertising. Game seems laggy, unintuitive, & boring, and you can't even read game tips without being forced to open up a separate browser. And I don't like the Maintenance news popups.

The game handles the concept of cultivation in a interesting way but outside of that the game has issues. Customer support is not the best and there is a large chance of your ticket just being closed you and needing to start the process all over again if you happen to not be on the game when they respond. Thr game does basically boil down to who will pay to speed up the process. Initially it is okay but in later stages it does reach an absurd degree.
