Although Banger was appealing to me at first the steep AI voice creating pricing took me a back. Just to see what the fuss was about I created my own AI voice for 500 credits. However the result sounded nothing like what I submitted and sounded incredibly robot like with non stop cracks in covers. Also, I’ve been using Banger for months now and their app is constantly changing. They removed the ability to add cover art to covers, removed saving to camera roll feature, and made their covers go from the full length of whatever song you choose to just 30 seconds! For free users this is normal, but for users with the subscriptions they should be getting the full song. This is no longer available. Find it ridiculous that they only provide you one credit a day. In the past you had to use one credit to make an AI cover and another credit to get the full version. So realistically you have to wait two days for a full cover. I get that AI takes a lot to power but don’t have the app free and advertise it as free when it’s barely usable even with a subscription!

A few days ago, I subscribed to the one-week unlimited plan for $6.99, expecting to have full access to the features advertised. However, when I tried to move on to the next step, I was surprised to see that I needed to purchase an additional subscription. This felt very misleading and, frankly, quite frustrating. As a customer, I believe in fair and transparent business practices. The experience I had with Banger’s subscription model does not align with these principles. It felt like a deliberate attempt to extract more money, which is both unfair and damaging to your app’s reputation. I am kindly requesting a refund of the subscription fee. If this issue isn’t resolved soon, I will have to escalate it by filing a complaint with the Apple App Store and possibly taking further legal action. UPDATE 2: They WILL NOT answer any email you send them, it has been over a week and I have gotten no responses. I have scoured my inbox to check if I am missing anything and there is no reply. Update: I already emailed you two days ago. I was told that I would only wait a MAXIMUM of 24 hours. Just give me back my money and I will be on my way. I saw ads for it on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I was slightly peeved that I had to pay $6.99 a week to even use the app, but I pushed passed it because I wanted to give the app a chance. I spent 15 minutes reading those stupid scripts to train my voice ai only to be told that I didn’t have enough credits and would have to pay a minimum of $10 more to use it. I got fed up and didn’t use it for a day or two before going back and using one credit to make a cover from the premade ai’s. The quality was so bad that I instantly went to apple to demand a refund. They said that I couldn’t get a refund and I was never given a reason why. This is a trash app that is not worth your money. I want my money back.
