I love the app and what I’ve been able to do with it. It’s quite time consuming to set up scanning everything in your pantry. It could do better on a few areas. It takes so long for your receipts to come through that it thinks you don’t have the groceries sometimes until the produce is expired and when adding from the shopping list areas results in a duplication. The recipes could definitely be updated, it’s more limited then I’d like to see and having to create your own recipes regularly adds to the time consuming aspect of the app. Many of my store links expires frequently (like every few days) making me log back in. Even though I abbe several store accounts linked, it will only let me shop and give me options for 2 of them, which aren’t the store I shop most (Costco). The product substitution on recipes really needs work. Basically it sees any kind of fresh herb as a substitute for another which can get confusing when trying to use the “cook what I have” option when searching recipes. It gives me a lot of options for things I can’t make because it’s making unsuitable substitutions yet leaving a lot on the table with my available ingredients due to the limited recipes. All that, I still think it’s worth the $50/year or whatever. I love being able to make a meal plan that my family members can see and using ingredients that I have on hand.

comparing prices store vs store; it used to be an awesome feature even though it was a bit buggy, will it ever return? *update/edit: the “compare shopping carts” option shown in the app page in apple store in the red color slide is no longer there in app. It is still one of the best pantry management apps i have tried to date but sometimes; one thing gets fixed, another seems to break or disappear. the cost is fine if you keep in mind that it helps them maintain the app quality and add/fix features, i send feedback whenever i can to try to be helpful. i'm looking forward to its progress very much but finding it difficult to be patient, kroger connection problem fixed but now it won't import my safeway purchases… still having this issue august ‘24. when i click to update connection status to import receipts, i get no indication of how long it could take or if it will do anything or ever import my recent purchases. It also won’t let me copy past meal plans to current meal plans without crashing 85% of the time. i have reached out about this a few times to email support. also, when i try to share a recipe from brave browser on ios, it imports the title of the recipe instead of the URL so I have to always go back to the browser, copy the URL and paste it back in app.

Working for a Fortune 500 company for 20 years, I’ve learned the power of data and reporting. Knowing how to use reporting and data will save you time and money. I have been dreaming of some kind of grocery inventory tracker and historical grocery analysis - and then this app comes in and knocks it out of the park by allowing you to connect to online accounts of all the stores you shop at!! Say WHAT! The thought of barcode scanning sounds like a long and daunting task. I’ve been wanting to be able to A) quickly create a grocery inventory B) analyze purchase history to identify purchase frequencies C) budget for groceries. And then this app is like “How about we also compare your shopping cart to all other stores’ prices for you while we’re at it.” Just. Wow. I am absolutely impressed. Thank you so much for making this app that I was about to start building! 😆🥰😁💜
