Those looking to buy this product need to hear these things (not commenting on “is it worth it”) Pros (if you *pay* for subscription): •You get a load of different measurements. •Number accuracy is pretty fair. Compared it to a Top Tracer, numbers seem to be close. •The interfaces for range are pretty nice. Nothing super flashy, but gives bare bones essentials. •Additional features are at additional cost, but the info provided sheds light on certain ways to get better. Cons: •As you begin a “session”, your data is being loaded shot after shot. The sync time has a large lag if you hit multiple shots sequentially. •Untracked shots happen more than they should. You could be hitting the same club time after time, and all of a sudden you could get a series of 1-4 shots that don’t get tracked. •Sessions get deleted. This has happened (to me) for 6 straight sessions. This is solely app related. •The app/MLM combo is absolute battery killer. I STRONGLY recommend charging both unit and phone to 100% before session. Conclusion: At the time this is written, I would not recommend this product *YET*. They have tons of room for improvement. If you’re set on buying a personal launch monitor, consider waiting until app features are improved so you are creating more value for yourself.

I bought my MLM last year and had high hopes for it. But I have had so many problems with it (using iPhone 11 Pro) that I could never recommend it to anyone. Often while recording swings it will be working perfectly fine. But without fail at some point during a session it stops working. The LED on the unit will turn blue, a sign that it recognizes I took a shot, but it will not actually record it. I have to either turn it off and on again to get it to start working or move the unit around (even though it was fine for a dozen previous shots). Often while recording swings, that will be working perfectly fine. On top of that, I paid for some coaching sessions through the app but there’s so many problems getting them uploaded it’s a broken experience. Run far, far away from this unit.

First, I primarily use the launch monitor into a net at my home. When I use it at the range the distances are 10 to 20 yards different. This makes club selection very difficult. Second, the app crashes several times during use. I would say it crashes around every 30 swings. I have to exit the app, restart and go back to my session. Meanwhile, if I didn’t notice it then it’s possible I missed several swings and there are only so many one can hit in a day. That can be a big loss of data, which is what I’m trying to accumulate. (FYI, I have a fully updated iPhone 11 Pro Max). Third, the usability of the app is very poorly thought out. There are several places throughout where there are simply no buttons to exit the screen. One example is if you look at an instructors drills. There is no exit button. One must close the app and reopen. Other places it’s just assumed that a user can figure it out. An example is the swipe left to view videos of your swing. That took some time to figure out. It would also be great to be able to see the swing speed instead of ball speed while in play mode. Please work on the UX so things are obvious. I don’t want to return the MLM just because the app is poorly developed.
