Si vous avez apprécié le réseau social à l’oiseau bleu avec Tweetbot et que vous songez à rejoindre Mastodon à cause des mauvaises décisions d’un étron musqué, vous serez comme chez vous avec Ivory. Les fondations sont les mêmes et, si l’application est encore balbutiante en raison d’un lancement précipité, les perspectives sont bonnes. Si vous hésitez à signer pour un an car il faut bien admettre que le prix demandé n’est pas anodin par rapport à Tweetbot, donnez-lui tout de même sa chance pour un mois. Vous ne le regretterez pas !

Bien sûr l’app est encore incomplète (ses auteurs ne le cachent pas : ils devaient rebondir rapidement, après le blocage de leur app Twitter), mais elle est déjà très bien comme ça, et je l’ai rapidement adoptée. J’aime tout particulièrement les grandes vignettes des images dans les listes comme la TL : aucune tentative de recadrage de l’image en la rognant, on préfère l’ajuster homothétiquement à une hauteur qui ne dépassera pas la moitié de la largeur de la colonne. Pour afficher l’image en grand, un tap suffit. Impec ! Pour le mode sombre, je préférerais un bleu-nuit au gris un peu triste ; c’est ma seule réserve.

A l'image du client tweebot, l'application est incroyablement intuitive, facile à utiliser et offre des fonctionnalités innovantes. Je recommande à tous ceux qui veulent investir dans ce réseau social alternatif à celui du vendeur de voiture de l'espace.
