We found TimeTree when looking for a common calendar that any of us could access and edit. We were battling cancer and several of us were working together to ensure my dad got to his chemo and other appointments. The ability to give each person a color meant that we could see what appointments were our responsibility while also knowing about all other appointments as well. The ability to edit with notes meant that we could detail what went on if needed or to remind ourselves to ask for certain things while at an appointment. My dad beat cancer and is now in remission. He still has after care appointments just to monitor things and he warned if he goes out of remission. The app is even more useful now because appointments are much farther apart and remembering details after so much time passes is often difficult. I just look at my notes in TimeTree! It is wonderful!!! I truly believe this is the most useful and crucial app that I have downloaded. I use it for work now too. Update: After four years my Dad is out of remission, and this time he needs 24hr care. I added a new calendar to share with my sisters so we can plan which of us will stay the night. This app is still the most used, reliable and crucial of all apps I use. So happy with it!

I use this calendar app as a personal calendar and I have a few others to share with friends! It works great but there was a couple things I want to recommend to the developers! I've noticed when you add events into the calendar it's not very quick to sync, so may take a few minutes for my friend to see an event or for me to see it change on another device (it also won't change on the Widget unless I open the app). So it would be super cool if it was a bit faster! This app works best on a smart phone device and besides the ADs I love it! The web version (I pull up on my laptop, but with no ADs!) is also good but I find it easier to put new events in on my phone. However, I recently got an iPad Air but I was disappointed when I downloaded TimeTree and realized the user experience is the same format as the smart phone (long rectangular that doesn't use the full screen of the iPad). I'd prefer to not use the web version of TimeTree on my iPad browser cause I like the convenience of apps. I think if you were to make an iPad version of this app I would consider the AD-free $5/mo thing...but I always prefer single, "lifetime” or yearly purchases rather than monthly as a college student! I have been slow to commit to a digital calendar for our family because I just felt like the functionality of other apps was not as user friendly or as logistical as a good old fashioned paper calendar on the fridge. At least not until I found the TimeTree app! This is how our central hub for all family events—large or small! My husband and I put everything in our shared family calendar and it really helps us stay on the same page, prevents double booking ourselves, and avoids the frustrations of asking “so what’s on the schedule for today” daily. It has definitely improved our marriage and family communication in this realm! On another note, the user face is just beautiful. I love that I can get a calendar view that show glimpses of the day’s events without having to click on that specific day (looking at you Apple calendar). If you love color categorizing, this app is for you. If you’re an old soul who is having a hard time ditching the paper calendar, give TimeTree a try! It’s the next and new best thing!
