It works for my lifestyle. I still need to see the sharing features and some specifics but I love the ‘save’ feature and the variety plus the simplicity! Worth it!

With its extensive array of options, both functinal (UI/UX) and culinary, the NYT Cooking app is a staple and does what every food app should do: give you lots of recipes, search filters, grocery list, folders, suggestions, etc. It even performs very well, with any major bugs, or minor, for the matter. Sure it could use a couple more features, but it is everything one could ask for… if you pay the subscription, that is.

The app is excellent, but for those not living in the US, it’d be convenient to have a conversion function for weight (oz and lb > g and kg) and temperature (Fahrenheit to Celsius). Another example is that the app displays ‘summer recipes’ when those of us below the equator are in winter; and vice versa. It would not be difficult for the app to detect location and adjust this accordingly.
