The real & serious problem with this app is video ads! There is an ad bar at the bottom & that’s fine, but when you have a pop up ad video play before you color & after you color every time, that’s just a serious problem of greed! Even more, you can pay $20 a month or $100 a year to take care of it! NO MOBILE APP GAME SHOULD COST! THIS IS PURE GREED! Edit, the game was updated at the end of February 2024 to fix a loophole in the ability to skip the ridiculous ads! You could go to airplane mode & ship those things but now it will not work unless it has a connection! Moving on to zen color because you don’t have to worry about the flipping aggravation of video ads! Edit since developers respond! Charging $20 a month for a MOBILE APP GAME IS NOTHING MORE THAN “HIGHWAY ROBBERY”! This is not a console game! $20 a month adds up to $240 a year or you can pay once a year $100! THESE PRICES ARE ACTUALLY MORE THAN A HOME CONSOLE GAME! STOP LYING ABOUT YOUR COST! You have ad revenue coming in from an ad bar at the bottom of the screen, a pop up video ad before you tap color, after you finished & if for some reason you are away from the app for two minutes, another ad pop up appears! Greed is what this company is all about! The ad revenue alone brings in a ton of money to keep any business running at the top! A lawsuit & getting the government to pass much needed restrictions on these mobile apps charging are MUSTS!

I have coloring for about 3 years now!! I have a lot of medical problems so I get stressed out very easily!! I find that when I color on the apps I have the stress is more manageable!! I just get lost in whatever picture I’m coloring and life is all good again!! I love that I get rewards for some things that I color!! The only thing I would like to see is more things that we can work on to get the rewards!! And if we could be reminded when we are close to getting our reward!! I am an older lady with brain issues!! So when I’m told to color 5 fall pictures I get very confused and don’t know what pictures I have to color!! So I just color the pictures I think will work and if it does it’s awesome and if it doesn’t work then at least I enjoyed the picture anyways!! I love the variety of pictures and the vivid colors but I hate the ads that you cannot escape from without shutting down the app and reopening it. I am deleting it even though I will miss the time I did get to color without an ad interruption. That part was enjoyable and very relaxing even though short. But the constant ads are annoying and try my nerves, defeating the purpose. I understand that ads are important for free apps, but I’ve never been forced to either watch for minutes or close the app to close the ad. Hopefully the ads will improve to where we can watch for a few seconds and close them if we choose to. And remembering which picture I am coloring and open to there instead of my having to search for it every time would be really nice too. I will check back and see if there are improvements. I hope there are, because this app has a lot to offer with just a few improvements.
