We fused card games and roguelikes together to make the best single player deckbuilder we could. Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!
Features
- Dynamic Deck Building: Choose your cards wisely! Discover hundreds of cards to add to your deck with each attempt at climbing the Spire. Select cards that work together to efficiently dispatch foes and reach the top.
- An Ever-changing Spire: Whenever you embark on a journey up the Spire, the layout differs each time. Choose a risky or safe path, face different enemies, choose different cards, discover different relics, and even fight different bosses!
- Powerful Relics to Discover: Powerful items known as relics can be found throughout the Spire. The effects of these relics can greatly enhance your deck through powerful interactions. But beware, obtaining a relic may cost you more than just gold.

Version 2.3.15
ConfusingFeature RequestsThe game itself is good but the controls really need to be streamlined for touchscreens. It seems like there is an invisible mouse cursor that stays on the screen in the last area you tapped and can lead to confusion. The game also expects you to "hover over" cards and icons sometimes to get more information, but because it's a touchscreen you have to tap and hold instead, which can lead to accidentally activating something you didn't mean to.

DifficultLove itI recently started playing and love this game. Incredible time sink and very clever (and difficult) game. The touch controls, however, are absolutely abysmal, and the only reason I deducted 2 stars. You'll absolutely and repeatedly play cards you don't intend to while just trying to read them, and that's a massive handicap in a game that requires so much strategy. I hope to see that addressed at some point and will adjust my review accordingly if so.

Version 2.3.15
Hate itThe core gameplay is a 10/10 it is exceptionally balanced and fun. However the one thing you do most in the game (interact with and select cards) is not ported well for touch. It's easy to see this was initially designed for a mouse cursor but it translates to an inconsistent feel for selecting cards, trying to read them, place them down etc. Many players may not care much or be bothered but I found it to be a frustrating oversight to really refine the interaction behavior with the interface.
