There's a significant issue with support being on your case when you're working (calling and texting repeatedly if you stop on a route to go to the bathroom, or even to make another delivery in the app!) and being completely unreachable all other times. There is no mileage compensation and the pay is poor. I have had hostile/frightened customers because Roadie does not communicate nearly at all between the drivers, stores, and customers. The app also doesn't work in rural areas without service.

As a gig app, it's a decent alternative to services like Instacart, but heaven forbid you need to contact it's abysmal driver support, which always seems to take an ungodly amount of time responding to issues. Either hire more support staff or give your drivers more power to troubleshoot issues on their own because it shouldn't take 30+ minutes to contact someone for help!!

Roadie used to be a fantastic service to deliver for. Unfortunately, their driver support is no longer reachable (up to 24 hrs later), their app freezes, and support refuses to believe you when describing issues with the app. I was hung up on today by a customer support agent who kept blaming me for the problems that were caused by their nonfunctional app. This is an unacceptable way to run a business that functions primarily through a mobile application. Fix it!
