Everything about iOS is designed to be easy. That includes switching to it. With just a few steps, you can migrate your content automatically and securely from your Android device with the Move to iOS app. No need to save your stuff elsewhere before switching from Android. The Move to iOS app securely transfers all kinds of content data for you:
Contacts
Message history
Camera photos and videos
Mail accounts
Calendars
WhatsApp content
Make sure to keep your devices nearby and connected to power until the transfer is complete. When you choose to migrate your data, your new iPhone or iPad will create a private Wi-Fi network and find your nearby Android device running Move to iOS. After you enter a security code, it will begin transferring your content and put it in the right places. Just like that. Once your content has been transferred, you’re ready to get going. That’s it — you can start using your new iPhone or iPad and experiencing its endless possibilities. Enjoy.

Version 4.0.1
NetworkAbsolute joke of an app after 15 times and about 8 hours trying to move a small data set of text messages and 25 gigs media it finally finished. It only decided to bring some of the pictures from the text messages and completely omit others entirely. This is the second time I've worked with this app and it's a catastrophic failure of service. Apple refuses to let people have simple connection to the SMS DB of a phone so they could just move stuff over from a backup and not have to reset.

Version 4.0.1
DeviceThis application fails at the most basic requirement, completing the transfer of items from an Android phone to an iPhone. Running a Pixel I would think they would test with my phone but apparently not. I even left the phone transferring over night to see if it would complete and it didn't. First impression fail for a new iPhone.

DeviceLove itEveryone's experience will differ with different all these makes an models. This app failed to connect to my iPhone the first time and ended up having to factory reset my iPhone again just to copy files over, you can't do this once you've gone past setup. I only opted to transfer WhatsApp, call history, contacts, messages & apps. It did this much better than Samsung's Smart Switch when going from iPhone to Samsung. 90% of apps transferred, no data from the apps did through.
