I had been happily using MuseScore for a little over a month even made an account for it. Then I got a personal offer for their music subscription, it was cheaper than what the subscription usually was so I had decided to buy it. Then everything went wrong, after refreshing the app to use my new perks, MuseScore decided to kick me out of my account. I logged back in and saw that my subscription wasn’t there I pressed restore purchases and it then claimed I hadn’t even bought a subscription. It then kicked me out of my account again and I tried to log back in only for MuseScore to say the account your trying to log into does not exist, so I was pretty frustrated at this point since I had a library of songs I had favorited and been practicing for days, and now I’m even more frustrated since now my subscription is useless! But it doesn’t stop getting worse, I decided I will just use MuseScore without an account since it was so insistent on not letting me use my previous one, and upon trying to play a peace of music it says “Oops!” “The app seems to be turned off in the background, please try refreshing.” I did as it told me and the message popped up every time I opened up a piece of music so now I can’t even use the basic app.

This app mostly works fine with what it advertises: Finding and playing user made sheet music. However, there are a few problems I have with it. Firstly, too many features are locked behind a paywall. If you want to download PDFs of the music (like advertised on the app store listing) you have to pay a subscription that’s like $50 a year. They are also constantly bring up full-screen popups trying to sell you on this. I think their subscription is a bit pricy for what it gives, and might be worth it if it wasn’t for the unintuitive app design. When you open a score on my iPad, it opens with everything very small. Zooming in on the score doesn’t decrease the amount on one page like it used to, but does a normal zoom. This is significantly worse because you have to manually pan around the page, which is hard to do while playing. If you want to replicate the old functionality, you have to press the magnifying glass in the corner and press “Enlarge” repeatedly. This new system is less intuitive and more time-consuming than the new one. This app still works fine, but I rated three stars for the pushing for a subscription and unintuitive design.

Hi, I’m a trombone player I have been play it for a year now and I was looking for a good app/website to print out some video game music to perform with my friends and I came across the website for this I thought this would be good, and I can easily print something out to play it but no. One you have to pay for everything which would be fine and stuff, but paying money to print some thing that just seems a lot. it also keeps trying to get me to download the app so I do it the same only there is no print button and if I download it as a PDF I can’t only get trombone it’s really buggy and hard to use and when I tried to do the free trial, it just simply didn’t work it cut off half the things on the screen so I would have to turn my tiny phone, which, then I couldn’t even read the music the music that I want is only on this app so it really frustrates me that I can’t do what I want to do with 1. not having to pay 2. it being super buggy. would not recommend for anyone trying to print or practice something if you’re just trying to listen to something then it’s for you. Ps. i’m not too good at making constructive criticism. and my grammar is horrible. Hope you can make this app a little more user-friendly
