    Version 5.1.1

So much potential. So very unreliable. Been trying to love this thing for the last year+ but just randomly stops working, more often than not. Walking around my room in circles to trigger things on and nothing. Leave a room for hours and detects ghost people. When it works it's really cool.. When it doesn't, it's always the worst possible times. Being stranded in the dark because a simple trigger can't turn a light on, makes me actually want to go back to hue motion sensors.

    Version

    DifficultHate itNetwork

I am running a bunch of IOT devices over wifi in a smartlife ecosystem, and experience drops and challenges due to router limitations and a - at times - flaky internet connection. So my plan is to move all of this to matter (for localization) and thread (to take load off the router). In this context, I stumbled upon the aqara m3, which was easy to set up in the aqara app, hence the three stars. But impossible to incorporate into the smartlife ecosystem. So it goes back...

    Version 4.2.1

    BugsDeviceDifficultNetworkUpdates

app and presence FP2 working fine on Samsung galaxy tab A7lite. I had problems when my WiFi access point became unreliable but of course. The FP2 firmware has been updated several times and the ghosts were exorcised from the haunted one, and the first one has been almost perfect with careful zones and interferences tweaking. Aqara has done well in supporting this device so I will look at their other products. Some colors and text and concepts are hard to read and convey.
