OpenTable needs to make sure that the restaurant information in the app is correct! We made a reservation at a restaurant via the app. When we arrived, the restaurant was not open. We then got a nasty email about how us missing our appointment costs money (with no way to reply), and that if we missed another appointment, we would no longer be able to use the app. Well, they don't have to worry about that! It has been uninstalled! We'll partner directly with the restaurant in the future!

Unlike Resy, you cannot make and place your favorites in groups (ex: city/state). This is very frustrating if you have a lot of favorites in a variety of states and cities. You can't even sort them in alphabetical order. Sometimes you can't remember the name of a restaurant, but you know it's a city or state. Instead you have to Wade through all of your restaurants just to find the one that you want to make a reservation.

This app has become less and less useful. Making a same day reservation does not allow for adding to your calendar. Even if you follow the link from the email. There is No help on the app from within the app to see if same day is the problem and no way to contact developers from inside the app to submit a support request. The only way I can think of to attempt to give proper feedback on the unbelievably limited usefulness of the app is to leave this review.
