So it's a fun game, and at the beginning it's very easy to fall in love. But I feel like it has what they call a honeymoon phase. Opening packs is great; building decks is great; collecting your favorite is great; battling is great. But once you sprint past your first foundation of level boosts and free packs, the game feels like it dies off. You get minimal experience for battling, and once you've collected your monthly hourglasses there's nothing to do. Trading also sucks right now.

I've really been enjoying this game so far! Yes the coin flip RNG needs fixing, but aside from that, what I'd personally like to see would be the addition of a ranking system for competitive play and a separate unranked play mode added like in the main Switch games. Making competitive decks is my favorite part about this game, but wins can feel hollow when your only reward is 15 exp, which is less than opening a solo pack at 25 exp. The incentive needs to be on the battling for this app to grow

I was super into this game and just waiting for trading to get added, but the way it was implemented is so horrible and just greedy. You can't even trade rare cards! What's even the point? It's supposed to be a thing you can do with your friends, but the currency is a barrier to that too. It's no longer just a cool friend experience, it actively steers you away from using it and now it's just a way to make more money. Very disappointed. An anti-trading trading card game.
