as someone who likes to plan and visualize my plans, the app works. a lot of the more detailed decor and furniture is exclusive behind a paywall, but there are enough free items that gets general lay outs and ideas done. this app can be very finicky, especially in the 3D view which is hard to control. that being said, as someone who enjoys ikea furniture, a lot of those exact models are available for use for free which is very useful. as for the AI and “realistic” photos, i think they’re a bust. in my mock up, the designs are accurate, but in the AI photos, the furniture and decor get muddled and sometimes change furniture entirely. i didn’t download this app for those, so no loss, but for those interested, keep that in mind. i personally don’t think PRO is worth it, because even if you do pay, you’re only getting more furniture and AI photos. unless you plan on outlaying more than 8 floor plans, PRO doesn’t seem worth it. all to say, this app is usable and doesn’t interrupt you with ads or even the ads for the PRO feature. it helps me visualize and see if my plans work. it gets finicky, but if you’re not easily frustrated, then i suggest this app.

I tried using this app after seeing it on someone use it. It seems great in theory but I tried to use it for an hour and the mechanics just aren’t it. It’s pretty janky controls over all. When trying to move around the layout, it seems to zoom in rather than “walking” to the spot. There’s hardly a tutorial on navigation or applying items into the rooms. Maybe it was an error but I also had issues with some of the furniture items moving around, clipping into the floor and refusing to go vertically such as the shower head. I couldn’t figure out how to work and properly place a shower divider or doors either. Camera and furniture controls are my biggest problem with the app. I don’t mind the items being locked behind a pay wall, although I do critique the basic tools like resizing a room is locked behind pro. That’s excessive. Furniture wise there’s still plenty that are available free imo but you expect people to pay $7 a week for an app that is this mediocre? Great concept, terrible execution. This use of image generating AI in this app is also a major turn away, tells me a lot about this developer decisions. I would maybe do a one time payment of $5 to use the entirety of this app in its current state but I wouldn’t pay a subscription weekly or monthly.

I was trying to plan my room, so I tried the room scanner with my camera. That didn’t work. So I used a tape measure and got the dimensions. I tried to put them into the system, but you can’t do that without buying their pro version so I was trying to do it by hand. Well the walls were laggy and it wasn’t letting me get to the dimensions I wanted. When I was doing the walls it wouldn’t let me get to the number I wanted because it kept skipping around no matter how slow I went. When I finally gave up and went into the 3D mode, I realized I forgot my beams. Well putting those in was a nightmare. I couldn’t even move the beams they we so glitchy. They wouldn’t resize without glitching either. I again just gave up and declared them good enough once I got them semi into the position I wanted and then I went back into 3D mode and they were on the floor. My beams weren’t even up in the air they were just sitting on the floor. I also didn’t like the perspective that I was in when in 3D mode it was very hard to see and the controls weren’t working very well so it was hard to turn and move. I don’t know if buying the pro version would be any better but I am not going to risk it and find out. My experience with the regular version was so annoying that I don’t even want to use money on this app as I’m afraid it will be just as bad and turn out to be a waste of money.
