Version 16.10.0
FamilyLove itI start everyday with Al & Jerry (Eddie too!). Regardless of when I wake up it’s the first thing I listen too. It’s how I get my news (& a little sports) and how I set my mood to face the day. I truly love those guys! My daughter in college in Nashville does the same and it’s keeps us connected. I usually then listen to Boomer & Gio and so on. When there are games on the station I revert to Al & Jerry’s Postgame Podcast. Saturdays I listen Richard Near and Hello my name is Craig and also search for appearances by Joe Benigno. My daughter in Nashville listens to many of those and my other daughters in Washington DC and New Orleans sometimes listen too. Also if one show references something from a prior show we use the Audacy app to go back, search, and share. This keeps our family connected to each other and a tradition of listening to the FAN all day long as my late husband used to do. He was disabled for years before he died in 2018 and the guys on the FAN filled his day with sports and camaraderie. He would have loved the Audacy app and I’m glad we have it. ❤️

DifficultFeature RequestsHate itInaccurateWaitingI have listened to CBS 880AM News Radio for many years. I (and I’m sure many other listeners) rely on the broadcast for accurate time references, while I’m doing other things. With the app, there is always a small time delay. It is inconsistent, so it is impossible to accurately compensate for. More significant for me, is that when segments of the broadcast are repeated, any time references are not deleted, so the inaccuracy can be hours. It can be frustrating. Also, when listening, to “Live” broadcasts, the app stops the broadcast at the end of a segment, and I have to restart. It is inconvenient and often not practical. Is there a way to allow the broadcast to continue indefinitely, so it doesn’t have to be restarted? Other than those issues, I find the broadcasts informative, and I appreciate the material and the personalities. Correcting these issues could make the app near perfect. Thanks! I’ve heard that Audacy will shut down CBS 880 News Radio this month. I’m Very disappointed and saddened by this development. I will sorely miss the personalities that have informed and educated (and entertained ) me for the last 30+ years. I strongly urge Audacy to re consider this decision. Good Look CBS 880. 👍

AudioLove itWaitingI only use Audacy to get my favorite sports station and for the most part it’s fine. But I often have issues where randomly every so often the app will go back about a minute maybe in the broadcast and replay what I just heard. At the end of a segment it will sometimes repeat that segment. This may be a CarPlay issue, but when connected to CarPlay it will occasionally stop playing audio while still “playing” the broadcast and I have to usually hit stop and then play to resume audio and maybe have to rewind depending how much I miss. When resuming listening my last listening session, it’s 50/50 whether the app does a new “boot up” and I have to go find the episode I was listening to under recents or it just brings up my last episode and I can just hit play. It does however usually resume where I left off or close to it. My favorite feature, the playback speed button, has been disabled for a few months now. Hopefully that comes back sooner rather than later so I can shorten my listening segments a bit. And this may be a CarPlay issue but it would be nice to have a chapter skip/back button in addition to the 15 second skip/rewind. And the only working button on the general audio screen is the play/pause. Skip/back don’t do anything and there’s no 15 skip.
