The content on Dropout is really funny, but the app itself could use a lot of work. If I close a video and reopen the app, all sorts of weird behavior with screen rotation usually forces me to restart it. Also, no gesture controls on the videos for screen brightness? Where do I find my recently watched videos? I think the app could really use a little more polish.

Great app with great content run by even better people. The player runs smoothly and is easy to rewind/skip forward or scrub on the timeline with no issues. Most of the time your phone can be locked and playing will continue, which I really like. I say most of the time bc I suspect the issue so have with it are more related to my phone being old lol. You can also back out of the full screen mode to have picture-in-picture mini player on the screen, which I really like.

Love it
I absolutely love all of the content and have had Dropout for a while. My love for everything on it almost brought it to a 5 star, but I have a few QOL gripes that I wish could be fixed. Things like minimizing in the app while looking at other things, being able to watch something on the browser and then continuing from the same place in the app, having to actually press the maximize video button rather than just being able to rotate, etc. Very small comlaints while the content is stellar!
