This has been a simple and easy tool to use. The only thing I’m sad about is that once I crop (or cut… or accidentally cut in my situation) it doesn’t offer you to save as a separate clip, and then you lose what you didn’t crop/cut. And there is no way to recover the original audio if there was a mistake. Other than that I will keep using it because it has been so easy, and just be careful with edits.

This app is automatically provided on an iPhone, and that has been perhaps the single reason I use it. For true usability, I am now looking for a voice recording app that has these features: • Good perception of primary source v. background noise • Automatic pause when silence occurs • Manual pause without stopping the recording • Appending new material to an existing recording • Detection of language during transcription So far this app does not meet those basic requirements.

I have only used the free trial for a day, but I found it very useful and accurate. I've been also comparing it to other speech to text apps and so far this has been the best one. Not only that, the yearly price is a lot more affordable compared to other apps. For example, some apps will charge you a whopping $4.99 per hour! Great stuff. I will be buying the yearly subscription.
