AdsAudioLove itWaitingHoopla is a wonderful alternative to the pricey Audible app. However, some features do not work properly. Every time you touch the icon, the app starts over, even if it was already open. This is not standard app behavior. And the search feature is tedious to use. There is room for improvement. Libby is easier to use and more reliable, but has a major drawback; you have to wait weeks or months for a book. I hope Hoopla will continue to add more titles as audiobooks! And there are no Ads!!!!!

AudioBugsLove itFour stars bc they fixed page flipping. Also can no longer Chromecast audio books?? Best reading app around though regardless, will bump back up to 5 when bugs are fixed. Shows and movies too, excellent. Even magazines. Upping to four stars aldo for overall convenience of having ten borrow + instant borrows. Go to your library !

AudioBugsHate itI've been a long-time Hoopla user but recently resumed and noticed a frustrating issue with the audiobook player across devices. It often fails to remember where I left off, replaying hours of content I've already heard. This problem didn't exist before and has become so annoying that I sometimes stop listening altogether. It feels like new bugs were introduced, possibly due to cost-cutting measures. I'll be urging libraries not to renew their contracts with you. The service has really declined.
