I love this app and have been a reader for almost a couple of years now. Besides the great journalism, what I like the most about this app is that the articles are easy to read, but it used to show me which articles I have read. With the latest update a few days ago, it seems that feature has been removed. After I click on an article to read it now, it doesn’t show a read status so I have no way of knowing if an article I have read has been updated or not. I hope Axios will restore the simple yet important feature. Other than that, this is a great app. I will be more than happy to change my review to five stars if the feature is restored.

The ability to filter news by geography is also a great option for those looking for more locally-detailed reporting in their state, city, etc. the preview page allows readers to catch up quickly with basic facts, or dive in and show more of the article for the full in-depth details of top news events happening around the world. I highly recommend Axios for unbiased, accurate, and current reporting needs for anyone looking for the full spectrum of current news in an easy to use app.

I was looking for an Apple News replacement after they raised the subscription cost. I evaluated several alternatives, and most turned out to be either clunky aggregates of news articles (many of which were hidden behind paywalls) or apps from politically biased media outlets. Axios - thankfully - delivers the news in a clean, easy to read format that sticks to the facts. I really appreciate the work they've put into this app.
