STORY
In the distant future, the only sentient beings in the world are robots.
They are the last remnant of the human spirit.
However, mankind is not dead.
Technology exists that is capable of transferring memories to these robots.
But with limited space, new memories will gradually overwrite the old.
To prevent the emotions in human memories from fading away, the robots resorted to converting the emotions to music, and storing them in a place called Cytus.
The robots use these songs to experience human emotion and dream that souls exists in each of them…

Love itSpendingAfter about two years away, I’m still coming back to this awesome game and enjoying it all over again. I first downloaded this game early in its life, before it had chapters at all. While it was fun in the early days, now it has become an absolute masterpiece, and getting 100+ songs for the low price is absolutely incredible. Most games give you about 5 songs, then you have to cough up to build a decent song list. Not this one. Sure, some chapters have to be bought, but considering you get 10 songs for $5, that only 50 cents a song, which is a great value! This and VOEZ are my favorite rhythm games of all time and everyone who decides to get this game is in for a treat, trust me, it’s worth every single penny!

AdsHate itLove itWaitingHi! I just wanted to write a review while I waited for the game to (re)download as I was thinking about this. I’ve been playing Cyrus for a little under six years now! It has my favorite music and art, and no matter what I always come back to it. I’ll complete the game and then delete it, and a few years/month later it’ll pop up in my mind and I have a blast beating it all over again. The first time I heard of Cytus was in seventh grade and I love it as much now, if not more than I did then. This game has brought me some of my all time favorite songs that STILL get stuck in my head, and artwork i still reference when creating my own drawings. I never thought a music game would have such a long term impression on me, but it did. I’ll continue to love it after I beat this one, too. Thanks for creating my favorite set of games, Rayark! <3

DeviceDifficultHate itLove itNotificationsWaitingAnother great game by Rayark, with the same ups and downs of Deemo. This game is really awesome, especially if you’re a fan of Osu (pretty much the closest you can get to osu on your phone, as far as I know). This and Deemo are definitely my favorite mobile games, though Deemo is definitely more difficult by a fair bit. That being said, like Deemo this app suffers from a horrendous interface on phones with screens similar to the iPhone X and 11. Swiping to hit notes near the bottom of the screen frequently closes the app accidentally, and swiping near the top pauses the game to show the Notification Center. The home screen bar covers the bottom part of the screen, so it’s impossible to see the text there in the song select screen. Additionally, getting combos greatly obscures the screen, and the notes can obscure each other as well. It would be nice to be able to disable the combo text and to be able to change the size of the notes (like how Deemo allows you to adjust the speed).
