I’m using it for awhile, enjoying the free services they are offering. I don’t complain about ads they have to make profit. This Quran, you can’t interrupted for any reason. It started for awhile now to interrupt the recitation and let you go out of the app to start it again so you see ads, at this point you lose the track of your recitation listening and forget what verse you are in. So annoying. Are you doing this for ager or profit? Update: I received your response, jazaak Allah Khair for that. You may have not understood my concern. While the recitation the app freezes and shots of. So when I go back to the app I find it restarting, then I have to go through ads before I go back to my surah and aya I was in. Then after 10 or 20 ayas, it does the same thing, kick my out from the app. I notice that happens when I read and listening at the same time. But when I’m just listening for example in the car and the app is not showing in the screen it doesn’t stop the reading. It’s something has to do with recitation and app is on the screen. I hope I was clear this time.

*Update*: I emailed them and they reached out to me with the references listed in their response to this review. I then provided several authentic references and they are looking into making changes. I appreciate their efforts of ensuring the information provided is correct 🙏 —— Original review👇—— Salam. I loved the app, but I unfortunately paid the subscription (to support the creators of the app) and then came upon the addition of the menstruation faqs for women. It states a woman can not enter the masjid while menstruating and this is INCORRECT! The app doesn’t even provide a reference to this. Scholars agree, you absolutely CAN ENTER THE MASJID. It also states that women can’t recite Quran while menstruating. Again, INCORRECT! The reference the app provides to Surah Al-Waquiya 56:78-80 says “ In a register well protected; none touch it (Quran) except the purified. It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.” Scholars agree it is stating you can not touch it (note: none can touch the Quran without wudu). Nowhere does it say you can not recite. You CAN RECITE QURAN while menstruating. How dare this app give false information. Especially to new Muslims. This is wrong information that can cause a negativity and confusion. May Allah guide us and help us be better Muslims 🙏

Look, this app has helped me become a better Muslim and May Allah reward the developers behind this app but the ads are so annoying especially when your looking for a dua or reading the Quran or even just checking how long till the next prayer. During Ramadan it’s crucial we know exactly how many minutes/seconds left till fajr so we can finish whatever we’re eating/drinking. How am I supposed to know how long there is till fajr when an ad will pop seconds before and I have to stop drinking my glass of water to close the ad 😐😐. I think there is a Hadith that states; past fajr your allowed to finish whatever you have in your mouth or hand but I personally prefer to finish everything the second before fajr starts. Simply just ask for a donation instead of making money from these ads, pretty sure most aren’t useful to us anyways
