BugsHate itSpendingWaitingToo little information takes too long to reveal itself… The excess button clicking, similar to the language apps, is quite annoying. The timed tests are a nuisance. They disappeared when I sub’d, but resurfaced in the champagne section despite the sub. I ended up just buying the Wine Bible on kindle. Reading a thousand page book must be faster than clicking buttons and retaking timed-out tests (maybe I am slow!). It certainly contains more info.

LevelI’m studying for my level 1 sommelier certification and this app is very easy to use and the information is presented in a way that it’s very easy to absorb. I showed the app to a level 3 sommelier and he told me he wished he had it when he first started studying for his level 1 certification.

Digging this app so far. Certainly didn’t know the first thing about reading a German label, but now have the fundamentals under my belt. As fun as playing a game and seriously educational at the same time.
