My fantasy league has been a member of CBS Sportsline for over two decades. In that period, CBS has been unable to accommodate a variety of rules to include (1) 24-hr waiver wire approval voting: the CBS software allows the voting to occur up to as much as 47 hours and 55 minutes. If the trade is consummated at 12:01 am on Monday, the trade is not approved until 11:59 on Wednesday, which is a stark and unacceptable violation of the 24-hour period in which the trade needs to be approved; (2) waiver wire picks in our league are prioritized on the following criteria (a) Win-Loss record, (b) power ranking (c) head to head record (d) intra divisional record. CBS uses a different set of criteria and is unable to accommodate our rule set requiring intervention by the league Commissioner EVERY WEEK; (3) our league is not a PPR, 1/2 PPR or standard league but a hybrid. The cheat sheets and other draft and in-season aids do not reflect our hybrid scoring system and therefore lead to suboptimal outcomes for our GMs. An AI-serviced math model would allow for out unique scoring system but CBS will not make the requisite investment to allow this accommodation. We pay over $150 a season for inferior hosting and are tired of subsidizing mediocrity. Next year we will take our business to Sleeper.

I joined an 8 team superflex league that has been going for 25+ years. I know the CBS FFT podcast bashes 8 team leagues, which is fine, but there are leagues out there that are 8 team. What blows my mind is in my ESPN leagues, we don’t pay any money yet we can do 8 team mock drafts whenever we want. Here in CBS, even with us paying a year fee to allow for 1RB, extra flex spots, etc., we cannot do 8 team mock drafts. I can try and do it on Fantasy Pros draft simulator but it’s not the same. I won the league the first year, couldn’t figure out the mock draft thought it was because I was new to the platform. Last year I used FP Draft Simulafor and when it came time to draft for CBS it felt unfamiliar and I did not enjoy it at all. These gentlemen are somewhat set it theirs ways, but I’ve thought about bringing it to vote to leave CBS and go to ESPN just because I’m not going to mock draft ten team leagues when we’re an 8 team league. CBS FFT bashes 8 team and talks smack about it, again that’s fine but CBS allows us to pay money to be an 8 team league, why are we not able to complete 8 team mock drafts. Very frustrating and disappointing. Please CBS, fix this issue and stop making your 8 team leagues your step children.

I like CBS fantasy football a lot, but I am looking to make a change toA league where there are one or two injured reserve slots. It was very frustrating to draft and trade to get an excellent team, only to have to drop good players in an attempt to get otherPlayers to make the playoffs. For example I had to drop Damien Harris because he was hurt for several weeks, only to have him get 38 points against me in the first playoff game when he was picked up by someone else. Would much rather have been able to put him on injured reserve without losing a spot. Had to drop Fournette as well, and also hold on to Elijah Mitchell while hurt for several weeks because I had no injured reserve spot. Especially with impact of Covid, anInjured reserve spot or two would really help!
