Signed up for a trial and began to use it but apparently I didn’t use it enough to merit their 30 day money back guarantee. What kind of customer service is this? They hid behind their fine print when I requested a refund after the auto renewal kicked in before I was able to cancel the subscription. They trap you with not letting you see a thing until you click to subscribe. A total of $55 spent on an app that tells you how to walk. Their promotions make it seem like the app will offer more than it does in reality. Then they throw in 30 day money back but you have to use it for 150 minutes in a week or 8 workouts. I have no way of checking what I did now because I deleted the app and when I try to go back in it makes me sign up and pay all over again. Do not waste your time or money! Emailed with Nicole on their customer service team and all she would do is offer me a free year. All I’m asking for a $38 refund!!! I guess it’s worth it to them to keep my money than providing customer service that understands and handles things on a case by case, looking at when the charge was made and when I cancelled (same day). Having now read the reviews and hearing similar stories please DO NOT use this app and subscription service.

    Love it

I like the workouts and how it encourages you to walk more. I also love how they have instructors of various body types in the workouts. My biggest complaint is that whether or not you meet the step goal, it keeps increasing. I kept increasing my steps but never *quite* to the goal. I would be excited thinking I finally hit the goal only to find the line had increased again. It was sort of demoralizing and soon the line was so far out of reach I quit trying to catch it. I turned the “speed” down to less aggressive but it’s still doing a similar thing. I wish the app had something built in more like if you meet your goal X times then it incrementally rises and it plateaus when you aren’t making your goal to allow you time to work up. I realize this impacts the calculation of the “weight loss timeline”… but I would prefer to focus on increasing my fitness not just hitting a goal weight at a certain time. The mindset of improved fitness over the obsession with weight loss timelines is also much healthier for my mental health, so this just might not be the app for me.

The workouts are fun and I can tell a difference in my health after 3 weeks. That said, there are flaws that, at first, don’t appear to be that huge. However, after awhile, they become irritating. Considering I pay an outrageous sum of $38 a month for this app, it should be near flawless. The problem lies within its interface with an Apple Watch and the related Fitness app. You know the one — it has green, red, and blue rings, points calories and steps, exercise time, etc. Sometimes the app will report the exercise time, steps, and calories accurately. Lately, it does not. Yesterday I worked out for a total of over 45 minutes with the app. At the end of the day, my watch said I had worked out for SEVEN. And this is not a new occurrence. It is hard to keep track of things when accuracy is suffering. Also, this app pops up in your watch while you are working out, showing your pace, pulse, calories burned, etc. The accuracy varies on that as well. For that matter, it varies on the app on your phone, too. Again, I pay a lot for this app. There is no “pay for the year and get a discount” type thing. It’s a flat fee after that brief free trial. My phone is updated and under six months old. My watch is the latest version and is also updated. The app itself is updated. What is the problem here? And let add that I was NOT given the option of purchasing an entire year. Wish I could change that.
