Back in July they took away the watch ads to unlock chapters, but they still have the timer to unlock chapters. The timer is great, but it takes a lot longer to unlock a book if you don't have a subscription. The books seem to be higher quality with regards to the editing than other apps so I really enjoy that fact.

Generally a good app. Some wait times are downright ridiculous for the length of chapters, so I don't know how they figure that out. Books are average. My issue: in the library portion "continue reading," sometimes it'll just drop whatever books you're reading. No rhyme or reason that I can figure but it's a pain to try to remember the titles you were reading. They all tend to blend into each other when you're reading a particular genre (ie. "Alpha ---" good luck finding that book).

I really enjoyed the app before. It had multiple different ways of earning points. Now, it only has check-in. Some books are only accessible if you pay for the subscription, not even allowing you to huy the chapter. It's not an enjoyable experience for the reader, and it has only gotten progressively worse over time. Complete books I had previously unlocked locked up again out of nowhere. All progress lost.
