I used to absolutely love this app and have been using it for years. There was recently an update and all of my previously approved purchases are suddenly now "pending". I tried reaching out to customer service and got a copy and paste answer about it taking 30-90 days for money to be approved. It was NEVER like that before. Sometimes it would even hit my balance same day. It's been over a month and all my purchases are still pending and I have a balance of zero, when it should be over $30.

Missing cash back. I was referred to Rakuten by a friend when planning our trip. So far I'm not impressed. I find the Cash Back activity section confusing. For 2 of the 3 transactions I've made, I've had to contact Rakuten to find out why my cash back balance shows zero. They were very responsive with the first and hoping to get an answer today on the 2nd. My point is that I shouldn't have to chase after the info. If something is denied, say so in the app and tell me why.

I haven't been able to place an order with this retailer in months via the Rakuten app. It literally sits there & clocks (gets hung up). It's beyond frustrating since I used to use it SO often. I've deleted my cashe, history, etc. & it still won't work. I've tried working with your tech group as suggested & after feedback, one time, they've gone radio silent. Rating is accurate 1*
