In the first month of using the app I almost deleted it. It was figuring out the many bonuses and OTHER ways to earn (rather mining location only), that made me keep it. After participating with the app nearly everyday for almost a year now, it looks like I’ll stick with it. There are many aspects that give you more returns over the long run. But I must be honest, there are ways to lose money with this. If you pay for a subscription and don’t spend time with the app everyday, or if you use the Geoclaim feature too much, or if you don’t do any of the bonuses or third party ads/offers/surveys, YOU WILL LOSE MONEY. I have kept my monthly subscription going long enough to have the 10% redeem discount, I have an hour to work and back everyday, do the checklist/streak bonus, full background bonus, watch video ad, listen to ads, do a few surveys. After all that I redeem weekly, but have no referrals and I earn about $10 to $20 a month (minus my $35 subscription cost). So the point of my review is: This is real, it’s not a scam, it’s part of a bigger project with XYO, so they need the monthly revenue. BUT if you work hard with them, using the coin app, you will earn in the long run. The real truth about the big earners of this app is that they have referrals that are also heavy users as well. I enjoy that the app rewards you in so many different ways. I just feel that $35 investment each month is too much for most people.

Be warned. Do not give this app any of your hard earned money. Great concept to take surveys and games to make coins but the payoff is no where near worth the time you put it. It pays like $.10 per hour if you do the math. More then 75% of the time the app doesn’t actually log the coins you earned. I paid for the subscription thinking it would earn me more coin until I realized the deceptive practices of this app. If you spend 3 hours a day on this app everyday for a month you will get a total of $1.23 worth of their worthless crypto that you can’t cash out until you reach 10,000. That was with their $35 a month subscription. This app is a huge loss and provides no real world value. What they are making off of selling all the data your giving them is no where near as close to what you get in rewards. And it’s not something you can let run in the background. It’s designed to have you open the app hourly to let them harvest data. Total scam absolute fraud. I will be reporting these deceptive practices to each appropriate governing body In response to the developers response; my review will stand until I receive a refund. A canned response does not justify the fraudulent activities they are doing

I, too, opted in for the free SentinelX NFC just for paying shipping, but…I was a bit smarter, and noticed that it forces you to sign up for a Pro subscription. I immediately found the subscription in my account’s web portal, and deactivated the recurring billing. If others noticed this, they would’ve gotten it without paying for the subscription. But it doesn’t end there. I recently made a discovery that XY Labs is using Private APIs in their COIN app to circumvent the iOS System Volume features. On speakerphone? Others may hear the ads. Trying to use Apple’s background sounds accessibility feature to sleep through the ads? The app’s Private APIs won’t let you do that, and they force the ads to play louder than the background sounds. Now don’t get me wrong, but I love this geo-mining concept. (I’m trying to save for a Nintendo Switch OLED Model, by the way.) The only problem is that the noisy ads have deprived me several days of sleep, which is why I’d wish they would stop using the Private APIs in favor of Public APIs, which are the only APIs allowed in iOS apps. Please, XY Labs! If you’re reading this, it’s not too late to fix this. I’m giving you the chance to correct this issue before I ask Apple engineers to pull this app from the App Store.
