Unser Vorschulkind hat in den vergangenen zwei Monaten Buchstaben gelernt und Englisch aufgeschnappt, während es dabei einfach Spaß am spielen hat. Er ist schon richtig mit den Buchstaben vertraut. Da es auf Englisch ist, bin ich dabei um die Geschichten zu übersetzen oder zu erklären, was erwartet wird. Der Rest versteht unser Kind alles schon selbst. Und dass man „double you“ im Deutschen mit „weh“ bezeichnet, kann man einfach auf dem Tonspur dazu sagen. Duolingo hatte die App jahrelang nur für den englischsprachigen Raum freigeschaltet. Ich bin aber froh, dass die App nun auch hier verfügbar ist und wir davon profitieren können. Die Frust in anderen Bewertungen, dass nur Englisch unterstützt wird, finde ich bedauerlich. Die Inhalte kann man nicht „einfach übersetzen“. So sind die Geschichten auf die Präsenz einzelner Buchstaben oder Lauten (wie sh, ch, th) optimiert. Für „M“ reicht es dann nicht um „Mad monkeys“ in „Böse Affen“ zu übersetzen, sondern müsste eine komplett neue Geschichte geschrieben und gezeichnet werden, wie auch für Lauten wie ö, ä, ü und ß. Es ist eine tolle App, kostenlos und ohne Werbung. Ein geschenktes Gaul…

UpdatesIch finde die App ich habe sie selber ausprobiert aber ich finde es sehr schade das es nur eine Englische Version gibt es wäre toll wenn es eine Deutsche Version gäbe sonst ist alles an Kinder angepasst perfekt für junge Kinder

Ok, die Erfinder einer super Sprachlernapp bringen diese App um Kindern das lesen beizubringen und schaffen es tatsächlich, diese NUR in englischer Sprache zu produzieren?? Also sorry… warum??? Das kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen! Die Idee und die App ist wirklich cool, aber was sollen meine Kinder damit? Hier muss also dringend nachgeliefert werden.
